2026 UK Silent Retreat

A week of silence, meditation, and direct inquiry with Angelo DiLullo — a physician (board certified in both anesthesiology and family medicine) who underwent a profound and lasting shift in his experience of reality at 24, and now writes and teaches on awakening. He is the author of Awake: It's Your Turn, a widely-read practical guide to self-realization.

DiLullo's approach is direct and present-moment: an investigation into thought, perception, belief, and emotion, using inquiry and what he calls shadow integration to see through the sense of being a separate self. His teaching pairs periods of silence with guided talks, group meditation, and dialogue in both small and large groups — less a lecture than a supported, hands-on exploration of one's own immediate experience.

The setting is Woldingham School, a striking historic building in the countryside about 20 miles south of London. Tuition includes all programming, meals, and room and board. Spaces are limited and the week is held largely in silence.
