Spiritual Retreat in Sydney
with Swami Sarvapriyananda
A weekend retreat in a forest setting with Swami Sarvapriyananda, one of the most widely followed teachers of non-dual Vedanta today. A monk of the Ramakrishna Order, he has led the Vedanta Society of New York since 2017 and is known for lucid, direct teaching on consciousness and the nature of the self — through talks that have reached audiences at TEDx, Google, and Harvard as well as the traditional lecture hall.
The retreat runs from Friday afternoon to Sunday morning and includes lectures and contemplative activities in a natural, wooded setting. It is part of a wider Australian visit in August 2026 that also takes in Perth, Adelaide, Canberra, Melbourne, and Brisbane.
The residential retreat is sold out. A free public lecture — "Belonging in a Divided World: Discovering Oneness" — is open to all on Sunday, August 23 (5:00–6:30 PM) at Sir Ian Turbott Hall, Western Sydney University, Parramatta.
