Dropping into the heart

Place your attention in the center of your chest—the area of the heart.
Not the physical heart, but the felt sense of the heart space.
Let your attention rest there, like sinking into a comfortable chair.
Notice any sensations. Warmth. Openness. Perhaps a subtle ache.
Do not try to change anything. Simply be present with whatever is there.
Now, from this heart space, ask: "What am I?"
Do not answer with the mind. Let the question rest in the heart and see what emerges.
The heart knows what the mind cannot understand.
Stay here. Rest here. Be here.
