An eight-day satsang retreat in the Tyrolean Alps with Madhukar, an Advaita teacher in a direct line from Ramana Maharshi. Madhukar is a disciple of Papaji (Sri H.W.L. Poonja) — the "Lion of Lucknow," himself awakened by Ramana — who Madhukar met in India in 1992 and who he credits with his own awakening. Born in Germany in 1957, Madhukar came to this teaching by a winding path: an early experience of oneness while climbing in the Himalayas, a spontaneous Kundalini awakening, study with the Dzogchen master Chögyal Namkhai Norbu, and finally the meeting with Papaji that ended his searching. For over twenty years since, he has offered what he calls the Yoga of Silence — an invitation, rooted in Advaita, to stop the restless seeking and recognize the peace already present. He has shared satsang in more than 25 countries. The retreat is held in Reith near Kitzbühel, in the Austrian Alps, with the days combining guided meditation, silence, and satsang. The alpine setting invites hikes in the Wilder Kaiser range and swims in the Schwarzsee between sessions. Held in English and German.
